Gardening: the type of day follows the constellation the Moon is crossing (sidereal zodiac, as in biodynamic calendars): fire signs, fruit days; earth, root days; air, flower days; water, leaf days. Ascending Moon (rising declination): sowing and harvesting; descending: planting, pruning and transplanting.

Haircut: waxing Moon on a fruit or root day for faster regrowth; waning Moon to space out cuts; leaf days are traditionally avoided.

Love: waxing Moon in Taurus, Libra, Leo or Pisces, Venus direct.
